Fried Egg Belgian Waffles Recipe

This recipe combines two of my favorite breakfast foods: Belgian waffles and fried eggs. The crispy and fluffy waffle complements the runny egg perfectly, making for a delicious and filling meal.

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat a waffle iron and cook the Belgian waffle according to package directions.
  • While the waffle is cooking, melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny in the skillet, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Place the waffle on a plate after removing it from the iron.
  • Top with the fried egg and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
